DESCRIPTION:Hosted by KNBC at the Mt Evergreen Ski and Recreation Area \nRegistration closes Wednesday\, February 25th at 11:00 pm \n10:30 Mass Start \nTrophy for 10 km skate\, 10 km classic and 10 km youth (either technique) \nThis is a cookie loppet!  Yes – you read correctly.  Cookie stations along all trails. \nSchedule for the day: \n09:30-10:15 Bib handout in the LOFT \n09:00-10:15 Course Open for warm up \n10:30 KNBC All racers start \n1130 Hot dogs over bonfire at Snowshoe trail start (skiathlon transition\narea) \nJackrabbits free but must pre-register with coach August\nCost; $10 entry plus day pass if you are a non-member\n10km skate course 2xTwo Tower’s\, Matoo’s\, Jackrabbit counterclockwise\,\nMatoo’s return and lap in stadium at trail exit. This means there will be a\nfigure eight in the racecourse\, skiers descending off Matoo’s onto\nJackrabbit will have right of way-look to your right coming out of Jackrabbit. \n10km classic course: Straight out Frank Symond’s onto Jackrabbit\nclockwise until you turn left onto Red Fox\, climb out of Red Fox turn right\nonto Jack Rabbit and right onto Green Spruce. Ski Todd’s Traverse and\nPanorama (NO WALDY’s!!). At the bottom of Panorama at the STOP sign\nturn right and ski Green Spruce\, this will take you to the top of Panorama\nagain. When you get to the STOP sign a second time turn left and descend\nonto Jack Rabbit keeping right to ski Jack Rabbit counterclockwise. Climb\nup to Matoo’s return and finish in the stadium. We will provide every classic\nracer with a mini-map of the course along with these instructions. There will\nbe directional signs at each junction.\nCookie racers: Cookie stations will be located at multiple spots throughout\nthe course. Jackrabbit coaches will guide groups on age-appropriate loops\nalong Frank Symonds to Matoo’s return.
